Sparkle Project 02.02.24
Thorpe Park have been releasing images of their latest Sparkle Project updates to their Passholders Facebook group. The Sparkle Project is a multi-year project, set to clean up the park through the use of paint jobs, rethemes, decluttering & more. It’s in the name – they’re giving the park some zazz, they’re making it sparkle! ✨
2nd February 2024: Today’s update focuses on the worlds first 10 looping rollercoaster, Colossus. 🌀

Thorpe Park have stated stated that “it’s almost time for our scenic teams to down tools ready for testing to begin.” This is due to the ride needing to be tested before opening to the public – safety first! As a result, the makeover has to take a slight pause to allow operations to go ahead. 🎨

The pillars in the Colossus hill are rocking their brand new look – don’t they just look stunning in the sun? ☀️

The dug out areas, beneath the cobra roll element, are also being worked on – these will feature a new paint job and the same patterns seen in the shop (read on)! We’ll also see this added into the queue line for a bit of extra sparkle! ✨

Finally from today’s update, the shop is coming together nicely with its new patterns, design features and paint job. What do you think?! 🌟
