Hyperia Accessibility Information
News just in! Thorpe Park have just released all the details for those requiring extra support, especially during the busy opening period.
We’ve simplified it all to give you the details on rider requirements, ride access pass users, limb requirements, and sensory information!
You can also check out the video from Alice with all the details:
Rider Requirements
You can easily find out all the information about Hyperia’s rider requirements on the Thorpe Park app, specifically on Hyperia’s ride page. You’ll find details on minimum height, medical considerations, and limb requirements, as well as where to stash your personal items.
Most importantly, Hyperia boasts a 1.3m mininimum rider height so younger riders will be able to ride the UK’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster. Hyperia’s station also features a wheelchair so everyone is able to experience this weightless coaster.Â
Ride Access Pass
During the initial opening phase, ride access passes are welcome to experience Hyperia once per visit to keep wait times snappy. Simply present your time card at the entrance, and you’re good to go. No worries about being timed out either, so feel free to explore other attractions while you wait. Pro tip: Aim for later in the day for a quieter ride access queue.
Now, if you’re planning a visit during May, best to snag those ride access pass allocations in advance. They tend to fill up fast, so plan ahead and book your spot. And speaking of spots, for those needing step-free access, fear not! Just follow the giant Wings to the entrance.Â
Physical Requirements
You’ll need to be able to sit upright unaided and brace yourself against those intense forces. And in the unlikely event of a lift evacuation, you’ll need to be able to navigate it safely, with our team by your side. Remember, there is also that all-important lift in Hyperia’s station for non-ambulant riders or those requiring step-free access.
