Thorpe Park offer an unmatched selection of VIP Experiences hosted across the park all year round. From behind the scenes attraction tours, to lift hill climbs and Fright Nights experiences. The Team at Thorpe Guide are well experienced with all manner of VIP Experiences and have tried pretty much everything. Rise & Ride

You can experience your favourite ride on the park (excluding Hyperia, Ghost Train, Samurai & Depth Charge) all to yourself before it opens up for the public. This will be subject to availability which can be dependent on weather conditions and ride downtime. You’ll also get a VIP badge with your name and chosen ride! For non-hotel guests, you also get an UNLIMITED buffet breakfast in Vibes Bar & Kitchen! This experience can be booked via the Thorpe Park website.

Coaster Climbs

Please note: Coaster Climbs are not on sale yet for the 2026 season.

From conquering the 127ft climb on the UK’s first winged-coaster – THE SWARM, reaching dizzying heights on the world’s first ten-looping coaster – Colossus, or climbing the UK’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster – Hyperia*, Thorpe Parks Coaster Climbs offer you an epic and exhilarating experience! Guided by your personal host, conquer the climb to take in 360 views of the Resort and beyond, plus get some awesome Instagrammable photos! Specific details available below. *Hyperia Coaster Climb is currently for Annual Passholders only – you must have a valid Thorpe or Merlin Annual Pass. To climb Hyperia you must have climbed Swarm, Colossus or Oblivion within the past 3 years. Refunds will not be given if this requirement is not met.

Behind The Scenes Tours

Go behind the scenes of some of the UK’s most thrilling rides! Visit areas off-limits to the general public and learn all there is to know about the attraction with these epic Behind the Scenes Tours. Currently available on: Ghost Train, The Walking Dead: The Ride & SAW: The Ride.​ This experience can be booked via the Thorpe Park website.

Fancy going behind the scenes of some of Fright Nights most terrifying mazes with the lights on? Thorpe Park offer Behind the Scenes maze tours during Fright Nights event dates, taking place from 12PM. Experience Double Trouble (Stitches and Survival Games) or the Devilish Duo (DeadBeat and Trailers). These tours are on selected dates.
