We couldn’t be more excited for the 2025 season, so we’re back to share all of the Thorpe Park latest updates from January 2025 particularly in the Fearless Valley area of the park, but also have some sad speculation about events for the upcoming year.

Hyperia

It appears that Mack Rides have a delivery for Hyperia! We’re hoping to see Hyperia operational for a full season this year, and hopefully whatever has been delivered will support that.

Fearless Valley is looking a lot cleaner now, and a small pond now features beneath the first drop of Hyperia. It’s looking much better!

Hyperia is also currently undergoing track inspection, which is part of the winter maintenance procedure for all rollercoasters across the park during every closed season. Safety first!

Slammer

Make way for Slammer! Thorpe Park are set to remove Slammer after 7 years of being stood standing but not operating & clearance has started towards the Hyperia maintenance gate ready for its departure. We’re expecting to see the ride removed towards the end of January/beginning of February. Did you ever ride Slammer?

Removal of Seasonal Events in 2025?

As we step into 2025, the festive calendar seems unusually bare, with only FRIGHT NIGHTS currently listed on the Thorpe Park events page. Just two years ago, we saw Thorpe Park’s “year of events” with celebrations that spanned the year – this events lineup has gradually withered away. The loss of Mardi Gras and Oktoberfest is sad to see, but we can’t say it’s unexpected following that we had no event in the Summer of last year. There’s also only an Entertainments Performer for attractions role (which will cover Ghost Train, The Walking Dead: The Ride & the Sunset Cinema) at this time, so it’s not looking likely for events in 2025 – other than FRIGHT NIGHTS of course, which will return for its 24th year in 2025.

We’re sure the next 80 days will fly by, and we truly are so excited for the 2025 season – we can’t wait to experience some of the UK’s best rollercoasters again, and most importantly can’t wait to Find our Fearless once more! Thorpe Park reopens for 2025 on Friday 28th March, so make sure to book your tickets from just ÂŁ29pp now. Until next time! đź‘‹
