Sparkle Project 21.02.24
Remember the Park is open from 10am every-day throughout the season, but be sure to check online the specific opening hours for the date of your visit. Starting early is the best way to ensure you get everything done, so consider arriving at the car park for around 9:30am to give you plenty of time to get ready before the gates open.
21st February 2024: Today’s update is a big one and includes Dobble Tea Party, toilets for Hyperia, The Swarm, Rush, and Colossus. 🌀

Dobble Tea Party is receving some new taller graphics around the top of the cover, featuring Colossus, Stealth, Tidal Wave & other popular Thorpe Park rides.

We all know that the world’s first 10 looping rollercoaster, Colossus, is undergoing a track repaint – but did you know it’s also receiving new theming installations to accompany the logo at its entrance?

Rush, the giant swing flat ride at Thorpe Park, is also recieving a fresh coat of paint, aswell as general maintenence. We were never a fan of the tanks before, but we definitely think they look better now – can’t wait to see them in person!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year and a half, you’ll know that Thorpe Park is building the UK’s tallest rollercoaster, Hyperia, but that’s not the only change being made to the Old Town area of the park for 2024. Maintenance work is being carried out at the Old Town Burger King, and the toilets opposite are being revamped too, so your surroundings will be extra sparkly while you’re on the loo… 😳

Finally from todays Sparkle update, the circular sink stations in the toilets are being removed from The Swarm toilets – don’t worry, we’re heartbroken too. We’re confident that Thorpe Park can give us a new sink experience just as good, though.
