Fright Nights Wins Best Theme Park Event At The ScareCON Awards 2025!
The ScareCON Awards 2025 were hosted at the Heart of England Convention Centre on the 20th May. Thorpe Park were nominated for 4 awards this year & won best theme park event!
The SCARs are organised by ScareCON, Europe’s largest scare attraction convention.
There are 15 categories this year, including Best Costume and Makeup, Best Entertainment and Best Theme Park Event, each of these Thorpe Park was nominated for.
Major contenders for awards included Alton Towers Scarefest, Traumatica at Europa Park, Tulleys Shocktoberfest, Thorpe Park Fright Nights, Halloween at Portaventura, Halloween Horror Festival at Movie Park Germany, Walibi Holland Halloween Fright Nights, The Howl, Horror at Hitchingbrooke House, Xtreme Scream Park, DeathCell: Magenta and many more.

Incredibily proud for Thorpe Park FRIGHT NIGHTS being awarded with ‘Best European Theme Park Scare Event’ for 2024 at ScareCON 2025.
So many incredibly passionate and talented people who care immensely about FRIGHT NIGHTS work together tirelessly and meticulously to raise the experiential bar and build on this very special event’s legacy each year. It is so gratifying for the event to have now won this category for back-to-back years.
I am so proud to have been part of the preparation and delivery of FRIGHT NIGHTS in my previous role of Entertainments Experience Manager at Thorpe Park over the past 4 yearly iterations of the event, and I can’t wait to see the event continue to flourish and grow for many years to come.

This is our third time winning this category across the past 4 years and it’s always a pinch me moment.
